Tajik Ambassador meets Speaker of the Egyptian Parliament
Dushanbe, 17.05.2016. /NIAT “Khovar”/. On May 16, the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Arab Republic of Egypt Ali Abdel-Al has received the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan Khusrav Noziri in Cairo.
According to Embassy of Tajikistan in Egypt, the Tajik diplomat conveyed to the Speaker of the Egyptian Parliament a congratulatory message from the Chairman of Majlisi namoyandagon /Lower House/ of Majlisi Oli /Parliament/ of the Republic of Tajikistan Shukurjon Zuhurov.
While expressing gratitude to his Tajik counterpart for the congratulatory message, Ali Abdel-Al said that Egypt and Tajikistan have long-standing historical and cultural ties.
He stressed that Egypt wants to develop relations of cooperation with Tajikistan in all fields and expressed his hope that the parliaments of the two countries will establish bilateral cooperation through the establishment of groups of the Tajik-Egyptian friendship, and would welcome the exchange of visits between the parliamentarians of the two countries.
