Dushanbe, 21.06.2016. /NIAT «Khovar»/. Today, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon inaugurated the largest shopping centre -«Dushanbe Mall» which has been constructed in the Somoni metropolitan district.

The modern shopping and service center has been built and equipped by the Closed Joint Stock Company «Eurasia».

The cost of the project according to the approved project documentation is only 110 million somoni, including the construction works that have been carried out in the amount of 100 million, purchase of the equipment and other materials in the amount of 10 million somoni.

The construction works at the site began in April of 2013, during the construction up to 400 construction workers and specialists of different spheres have been provided with jobs, and the average salaries were up to 1,500 somoni.

On the ground floor, the Head of State Emomali Rahmon visited the shopping centers of children’s and teen clothing, imported from foreign companies.

During the familiarization, President Emomali Rahmon was informed that the creation of the shopping center is aimed at the supply of the country’s population and guests with affordable quality food and agricultural products and other goods of daily consumption and other services. For this shopping center «Dushanbe Mall» is equipped with modern equipment and technology of trade sphere. The Shopping center project was developed by JSC «Eurasia», the main construction works were also carried out by this company.

After full commissioning of the shopping center, taking into account the rental outlets, will be created up to 750 new jobs. A large area of ​​the shopping center is needed to create a hypermarket «Auchan». At the invitation of local entrepreneurs the leadership of the French company «Schiever International» in Tajikistan opened its first hypermarket «Auchan» in Central Asia. CJSC “Schiever Tajikistan” was established in June 2014 by the company «Eurasia», the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, as well as the family of the French company «Schiever International». It should be noted that this company is world-renowned, has more than 3,000 shopping malls hypermarkets in different parts of the world. To ensure the functioning of the hypermarket «Auchan» in the shopping center «Dushanbe Mall» has created 400 new jobs and over 70 jobs for management administration. In addition, JSC «Schiever Tajikistan» in the future through the creation of similar centers in other cities of Tajikistan will create over 1,000 new jobs. According to the management, the entire profit of the company will focus on the development of trade and services in the Republic of Tajikistan.

The shopping center consists of 4 floors. On the ground floor it has a covered parking with a lot for 160 vehicles, warehouses, technical service facilities, office. On the second and third floors the hypermarket «Auchan», children’s store, «world of children», men’s clothing store «Insof», a jewelry shop, a mobile phone shop, a wellness center, an art shop, a furniture store, a shoe store, a restaurant and 11 fast food outlets are located. On the fourth floor there are 4 cinema halls «Cosmos» as a whole with 290 seats, an exhibition of art with appropriate classrooms and offices.
