Tajikistan Ambassador, Pakistani Federal Minister for Water and Power discussed issues of bilateral relations
DUSHANBE, 09.01.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Tajikistan to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Sherali Jononov has met with the Pakistani Federal Minister for Water and Power Kwaja Muhammad Asif, MFA Information Department reported on January 7.
According to the statement of the ministry, during the meeting a range of issues of bilateral relations and other issues of mutual interest have been discussed.
We will recall that the diplomatic relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan were established on June 6, 1992. Since the establishment of bilateral diplomatic relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan more than 500 Pakistani students studied and graduated from higher educational institutions of the Republic of Tajikistan. In this period more than 30 agreements, memoranda of understanding and other official documents between the two countries were signed.
