DUSHANBE, 12.01.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Chairman of Committee for Emergency Situations and Civil Defense (CESCD) under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Lieutenant-General Rustam Nazarzoda has met with FAO delegation headed by Viorel Gutu, the press centre of CESCD reports.

“The two parties have discussed the issues of expansion of cooperation and the implementation of joint projects on the protection of agricultural crops from hailstorm in the country’s territory”, — says the message of CESCD, adding “problems of material and technical equipment, training and retraining of employees, as well as exchange of work experience in this field were also discussed”.

The head of CESCD thanking Gutu for the constructive conversation, hoped that such meetings will be regularly held and will become a basis of successful cooperation between Committee for Emergency Situations and Civil Defense under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations.
