Merkel-Trump meeting delayed over storm
DUSHANBE, 14.03.2017 /NIAT «Khovar»/.The meeting between German Chancellor Angela Merkel and U.S President Donald Trump in Washington was postponed due to a coming snowstorm, Xinhua reports citing the German local media N-TV.
White House also confirmed the delay, saying the scheduled Tuesday meeting will be on March 17 instead.
Topics on migrant crisis, NATO, as well as U.S.-EU ties are expected to be covered at the summit.
Trump also plans to visit Germany on July 7 and 8, attending the two-day G20 summit in Hamburg.
