Deputy PM Azim Ibrohim examined the Rogun HPP construction
DUSHANBE, 29.09.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. Yesterday Deputy Prime Minister of Tajikistan Azim Ibrohim visited the Rogun HPP in order to get familiar with the progress of the works.
Deputy PM having positively assessed the construction process, the quality of the installation of the engine room and the building of the transformers, stated that the complex of planned works should be completed in a timely manner in the proper volume and with high quality.
Azim Ibrohim gave specific orders and instructions to responsible persons and stressed that in the construction sites of the dam under construction should give priority attention to the quality of strengthening works of the plast with salt layer and cement works, cleaning and water absorption.
Deputy PM of the country stated that no one has the right to make mistakes in the construction of this facility, since this structure should serve to the present and future generations of our country for hundreds of years.
Representatives of customers and contractors of the Rogun HPP confirmed that all work related to dam strengthening is under the supervision of specialists, and works on conformity diagnostics are being continuously conducted.
