Tajik Foreign Minister attended meeting of CIS Foreign Ministers Council in Sochi
DUSHANBE, 11.10.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirodjidin Aslov took part on October 10 in the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS Foreign Ministers Council) in Sochi.
According to the MFA Infroamtion Department, the foreign ministers discussed issues of political, economic and socio-humanitarian cooperation in the CIS. There was a detailed exchange of views on the topical issues of the international agenda and the strengthening of cooperation within the framework of the Commonwealth of Independent States. In particular, the issues related to the support of the family institution and traditional values, the optimization of the work of the Commonwealth and its adaptation to modern realities were discussed and the basic organizations of the CIS member states on training, retraining and improving the skills of personnel in individual sectors were defined.
On all issues of the agenda were adopted mutually acceptable solutions.
