Permanent Representative of Tajikistan attended the UN Security Council Arria-Formula meeting on Afghanistan
DUSHANBE, 30.11.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Permanent Representative of the Republic of Tajikistan to the UN Mahmadamin Mahmadaminov attended and addressed the UN Security Council Arria-Formula meeting entitled “Partners for Afghanistan: linking security, development and peace in Central Asian” on November 27.
According to the MFA Information Department, in his statement, the Permanent Representative underlined the need for better-coordinated actions in maintaining security and development in the region.
Ambassador Mahmadaminov also expressed Tajikistan’s readiness for strengthening cooperation and assistance in order to restore peace and stability in Afghanistan.
