WORLD’S PROSPEROUS COUNTRIES RANKINGS: TAJIKISTAN RANKS ON SUCH CRITERIA, AS “EDUCATION” AND “SAFETY AND SECURITY”
DUSHANBE, 04.12.2017 /NIAT «Khovar»/. Tajikistan ranked 102 place in the British Center “Legatum Institute” 2017 rankings of the prosperous countries of the world, the official website of this center reports.
According to the published rankings data, Tajikistan takes the best indicators this year by such criteria as “education” (54th place), “safety and security” (49th). Last year, the republic was on the 100th line of the rating.
Russia this time was close to Tajikistan — in 101 place, Kazakhstan — on the 72nd, Kyrgyzstan — 82nd and Belarus on the 95th place. The first place is occupied by Norway, and it is followed by New Zealand and Finland.
The results of the research are based on a comparison of a number of indicators distributed across nine separate groups: economy quality, business environment, governance, education, health, safety and security, personal freedoms, social capital and natural environment.
The world’s countries prosperity index of the British analytical center “The Legatum Prosperity Index” is a combined indicator that measures the achievements of the countries from the point of view of their well-being and prosperity. It is issued since 2006. The aim of the study is to study public welfare and its development on a global scale.
