New flights from Bukhara and Samarkand to Dushanbe will open soon
DUSHANBE, 04.01.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. Tajikistan positively assessed the proposal of the Uzbekistan Airways National airline on the opening of new flights connecting Samarkand and Bukhara with Dushanbe.
As NIAT “Khovar” was informed by the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Tajikistan, a decision on this issue has already been made and an answer has been sent to the Uzbek side. New flights will be opened in the near future.
We will recall that last year for the first time in 25 years, the air communication was resumed between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. The Uzbekistan Airways National airline currently operates flights to Dushanbe once a week on Tuesdays by A320 aircrafts. The flights between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan were terminated in 1992.
