An exhibition of Tajik artists officially opened in Geneva
DUSHANBE, 12.02.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The official opening ceremony of an exhibition of Tajik artists, organized by the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Tajikistan at the United Nations Office and other international organizations in Geneva in cooperation with the State Institute of Fine Arts and Design of Tajikistan, took place at the World Intellectual Property Organization.
According to the MFA Information Department, the exhibition has been organized as part of the Year of Tourism and Folk Crafts Development.
“The opening ceremony was attended by the Director General of WIPO Francis Gurry, as well as the representatives of the diplomatic corps and international organizations in the host country, — says the message of the source, adding that a rich Tajik culture and crafts of Tajikistan were presented to the guests of the event”.
