Tajikistan’s art and culture festival was held in Paris
DUSHANBE, 03.07.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. On 29 June 2018, with the aim of promoting Tajikistan’s initiatives in the field of tourism development, handicrafts and presentation of the rich historical and cultural heritage of the country, the Embassy of Tajikistan together with the Cultural Association of the Tajik Diaspora in Paris «Ravzana» has organized a “Cultural evening” with the participation of the People’s Artist of Tajikistan, Head of the «Falak»s Ensemble of the Committee on Television and Radio under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Davlatmand Kholov and the Master of the National Conservatory of Tajikistan Shavkatjon Okilov.
According to the Tajik Embassy in Paris the event was attended by the representatives of the ministries and departments of the French Republic, the diplomatic corps accredited in the host country, trade groups, scientific and cultural circles, as well as the Tajik diaspora of France and friends of Tajikistan.
Variety of national cuisine as well as an exposition of pictures and photographs of Tajik masters with national color have been presented at the event dedicated to the announced Year of Tourism and Folk Crafts of Tajikistan.
