Emomali Rahmon and Shavkat Mirziyoyev exchanged warm New Year greetings
DUSHANBE, 30.12.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon held a telephone conversation with the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
In a friendly atmosphere the heads of the two states exchanged warm New Year greetings and wished each other well-being, peace and prosperity to the fraternal Tajik and Uzbek people.
President Emomali Rahmon and Shavkat Mirziyoyev noted their satisfaction with the high dynamics of the fruitful development of Tajik-Uzbek strategic partnership in accordance with the fundamental interests of two close people and the entire region.
President Emomali Rahmon also expressed his confidence that the relationship between the two countries will continue to further advance in this direction. The parties also discussed a number of issues related to regional and international matters.
