DUSHANBE, 11.11.2020 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, Dushanbe Chairman Rustam Emomali by planting the first seedling on Sadriddin Ayni Avenue gave an official start to the greening and tree planting campaign.

The campaign includes the planting of over 300 magnolia saplings on Ayni Avenue. In total, over 100,000 shade and ornamental trees and over 10,000,000 seasonal and perennial flowers, including 3,500,000 tulips, will be planted and grown in Dushanbe this season.

Rustam Emomali, simultaneously with the start of tree planting, called on the officials to intensify the campaign for the capital’s improvement and greening.

His decision to turn Dushanbe into a green city was made at the third session of the Assembly of People’s Deputies, which was well received by the public.

In this regard, Rustam Emomali invited every family living in the capital to plant and grow at least one evergreen tree near their house during the planting period.
