DUSHANBE, 10.01.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, as part of his official visit toIran, the Speaker of the National Assembly of Tajikistan, Chairman of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali met with the Mayor of Tehran Alireza Zakani.

It was expressed hope that close ties between Dushanbe and Tehran will allow the parties to establish further bilateral cooperation.

In this regard, it was considered important to strengthen cooperation in the fields of trade, economics, industry, culture and the humanities, as well as the exchange of experience in urban planning, improvement and management of the urban infrastructure complex.

Following the meeting, Rustam Emomali and Alireza Zakani signed a Cooperation Program between Dushanbe and Tehran in economic , trade and humanitarian spheres.

The parties expressed confidence that the new cooperation document will create a favorable basis for the further development of fruitful relations between Dushanbe and Tehran.
