DUSHANBE, 07.02.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – The Speaker of the National Assembly, Chairman of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali received the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Tajikistan Kwon Dong-seok at his request.

Initially, Rustam Emomali sincerely congratulated the Ambassador on the start of his diplomatic mission in Tajikistan, and confidently stated that with his fruitful efforts and activities he would make a worthy contribution to the development of partnerships between states in various areas of cooperation.

The meeting focused on the current state and prospects of cooperation.

The parties attached primary importance to the development of trade, economic and socio-cultural cooperation and emphasized that the Republic of Korea and Tajikistan have ample opportunities and resources for multifaceted cooperation.

It was also expressed interest in developing and expanding cooperation, including in the areas of urban infrastructure, digitalization of important areas of urban living, the development of cultural and humanitarian relations and attracting more investors in connection with the construction of joint ventures.
