Drug Control Agency and OSCE Sign a Joint Action Plan for 2021

DUSHANBE, 21.04.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, the OSCE Program Office in Dushanbe signed a Joint Action Plan with the Drug Control Agency for 2021.
The document was signed by the Agency’s Director Habibullo Vohidzoda and the Deputy Head of the Program Office of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in Dushanbe Tea Jaliashvili.
The plan covers education and training of employees in the field of combating drug smuggling, anti-drug activities to reduce the level of drug addiction, promotion of healthy lifestyles, and the translation and publication of the National Strategy on Drug Control in Tajikistan for 2021- 2030.
In her speech, Jaliashvili lauded the joint activities of the OSCE Program Office in Dushanbe.
The parties expressed interest in implementing the plan as soon as possible.
They also expressed hope for intensifying bilateral cooperation in the field of drug control.
