Dushanbe to Host a Meeting of the CSTO Committee of Secretaries of Security Councils

DUSHANBE, 28.04.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, Dushanbe will host bilateral talks between the Secretaries of the Security Councils of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan, who arrived in Tajikistan.
Tomorrow they will take part in a meeting of the CSTO Committee of Secretaries of the Security Councils.
The meeting will focus on military security, countering challenges and threats, and measures to neutralize them.
The meeting agenda also includes consideration of a plan of events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the signing of the treaty and the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the CSTO.
President Emomali Rahmon is expected to receive the Security Council Secretaries before the start of the meetings.
The Committee of Secretaries of Security Councils is an advisory and executive body dealing with the coordination of interaction between the CSTO states in security.
