DUSHANBE, 18.05.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – On May 18, the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) determined the official exchange rate of foreign currencies for accounting and payment of customs duties as follows:

1 USD – 11.3200 TJS,

1 Euro – 13.7493 TJS,

1 Russian ruble – 0.1524 TJS.

Also May 18, the average selling rate of cash foreign currencies in credit institutions of Tajikistan is:

1 USD – from 11.3200 TJS to 11.3400 TJS

1 Euro – from 13.7493 to 13.8800 TJS,

1 Russian ruble – from 0.1524 TJS to 0.1545 TJS.

NBT warns that foreign exchange operations are prohibited outside bank branches, bank service center offices, as well as at ATMs and payment terminals located within the country. Failure to comply with these requirements will be considered a violation of the law and violators could face4 punitive damages and criminal charges.
