Tajikistan Strengthens Co-Operation with OSCE on Police Reform

DUSHANBE, 18.06.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, as part of the implementation of the Police Reform Program in Tajikistan, the Minister of Internal Affairs Ramazon Rahimzoda met with the Head of the OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe, Ambassador Valeriu Chiveri.
The parties expressed their opinion on the creation of a working group and drawing up a work plan for the further implementation of the Police Reform Program for 2021-2025.
They noted that the creation of such a structure that would meet the expectations of society and represent a new image of a police officer in Tajikistan will give a positive impetus for further cooperation and achieve the ultimate goal.
