Tajik and German Prosecutor Generals Discuss Countering Transnational Organized Crime

DUSHANBE, 30.07.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – On July 28, the Prosecutor General of Tajikistan Yusuf Rahmon met with the Prosecutor General of Germany Peter Frank.
The counterparts exchanged views on the development of cooperation between the two countries in the field of legal assistance, interagency relations and training of young professionals.
Referring to the radical deterioration of the situation in Afghanistan, Rahmon stressed the need to expand cooperation in the fight against terrorism, extremism and other transnational crimes.
Rahmon also got acquainted with the activities of the Prosecutor’s Office of North Rhine-Westphalia and talked with its leadership about the development of direct interagency relations.
