DUSHANBE, 12.01.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – The Tajik side firmly supports Beijing in hosting the Olympic Games safely and successfully, reported in the Press Center of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS) of Tajikistan referring to Committee’s Chairman, Colonel-General Saimumin Yatimov.
The press center notes that the current situation in the region is unstable, terrorist threats emanating from the relevant centers continuously threaten the security of the states of Central Asia and the western region of China, which is an urgent threat to the 2022 Winter Olympic Games in Beijing. On the other hand, at the appointed time, Tajik athletes and our delegation will participate in the Olympics.
The SCNS will take active measures to eliminate potential threats to ensure the safety of Tajik athletes and our delegation, as well as the success of the Winter Olympic Games.
Less than a month is left before the 2022 Winter Olympic Games in Beijing, and the interest of athletes and winter sports enthusiasts in the world is growing.
