Risk of Mudflow Remains in Tajikistan Until the Weekend

DUSHANBE, 22.04.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – A high risk of mudflows will remain in the foothill and mountainous regions of Tajikistan until this weekend, reports the Agency for Hydrometeorology.
The Committee for Emergency Situations and Civil Defense (CESCD) recommends travel agencies and citizens to abstain from resting near bodies of water, from tourist routes, and mountain hikes.
The CESCD urges citizens to refrain from traveling through passes and mountain roads, collecting mushrooms, medicinal herbs, firewood, fishing, and hunting during these days.
