PM Rasulzoda Attends Extraordinary Session of the CSTO Collective Security Council

DUSHANBE, 14.09.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday evening, at the request of the Prime Minister of Armenia, who is also serving as the current Chairman of the CSTO Collective Security Treaty Nikol Pashinyan, an extraordinary session of the Collective Security Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) was held via videoconference.
On behalf of President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, Prime Minister Kohir Rasulzoda attended the meeting.
In his speech, Rasulzoda expressed Tajikistan’s concern about the latest events — the clash of the military forces of Armenia and Azerbaijan.
He emphasized that in the current situation, it is important to prevent further aggravation of the situation and return to solving problems through political and diplomatic channel as soon as possible.
Rasulzoda expressed his confidence that the only way to ensure peace and stability in the region is through the effective use of the means of dialogue on the basis of the adopted documents.
