Anti-Terrorist Secretariat and Website to Be Established In Tajikistan

DUSHANBE. October 17, 2022 /NIAT «Khovar»/. In order to implement Tajikistan’s national strategy on countering terrorism and extremism for 2021-2025, Tajikistan will establish a secretariat and a special database to reflect its activities.
Today Dushanbe hosted the eighth coordination meeting on the implementation of the national strategy under the auspices of the Prosecutor General’s Office and the OSCE Program Office in Dushanbe. On June 1, 2021, President of Emomali Rahmon approved the strategy on countering terrorism and extremism for 2021-2025.
The strategy defines the goals, objectives and main directions of state policy and is aimed at combining the measures of state bodies, self-government bodies of towns and villages, civil society institutions, and international organizations toward this direction.
