Today, the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, had a telephone conversation with the President of the Russian Federation, Honorable Vladimir Putin.
The heads of state congratulated each other on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the Victory Day.
During the conversation, the presidents emphasized the positive trend of the development of strategic partnership relations between Tajikistan and Russia in all areas of cooperation.
The readiness of the parties for the rapid development of relations in various spheres of cooperation was expressed.
The heads of both countries also exchanged views on pressing international and regional issues, including the situation on the Tajik-Afghan border, and discussed the schedule of bilateral and multilateral events this year.
Honorable Vladimir Putin invited the Leader of the Nation to attend the events dedicated to Victory Day in Moscow.
