DUSHANBE, 02.06.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – Strengthening regional and international security, combating terrorism, extremism, drug trafficking and other important issues were discussed on May 31 by the Minister of Internal Affairs Ramazon Rahimzoda and the EU Counter-Terrorism Coordinator Ilkka Salmi, the EU Special Representative for Central Asia Teri Hakala, Head Representations – EU Ambassador to Tajikistan Raimundas Karoblis.
A number of useful suggestions were presented regarding the fight against the threats and dangers of modern time, such as transnational organized crime.
It was paid special attention to the discussion of the current situation in Afghanistan.
The parties expressed their readiness for further development and expansion of cooperation.
