Supreme Court of Tajikistan Prohibits the Activities of the Pamir Daily News Organization

DUSHANBE, 24.07.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – According to the decision of the Supreme Court of Tajikistan dated June 14, 2023, the statement of claim of the Prosecutor General was satisfied in the interests of protecting the foundations of the constitutional system, security and sovereignty of Tajikistan and it was recognized as an extremist organization Pamir Daily News or Pamir News (Pamir News), whose activities are prohibited in Tajikistan, reports the official website of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
Also, the activity of the Internet sites of this organization is prohibited in Tajikistan.
Citizens are informed that cooperation with this extremist organization, its leaders and members in any form is illegal, and the commission of specific actions in their interests entails criminal liability.
