DUSHANBE, 24.07.2023 (NIAT Khovar) — Today, the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, had a telephone conversation with the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Honorable Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The head of our state sincerely congratulated the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on his birthday and wished Honorable Shavkat Mirziyoyev health, happiness, well-being and great new successes in the implementation of his state plans for the benefit of the brotherly people of Uzbekistan.
The Leader of the Nation emphasized the significant role of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in the steady economic and social development of the neighboring country and strengthening its position in the international arena, and wished progress and prosperity to friendly Uzbekistan.
In the continuation of the conversation, the Presidents discussed certain aspects of the strategic partnership and alliance between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. In this context, the strict readiness of the parties to deepen the reliable interstate dialogue and the further effective development of friendly relations and good neighborliness in accordance with the main interests of the people of the two countries was emphasized.
The leaders of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan also paid attention to pressing issues of the international and regional agenda.
