Dushanbe Will Host the Meeting of the Council of CIS Ministers of Justice

DUSHANBE, 21.09.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – The 17th meeting of the Council of Ministers of Justice of the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) will be held in Dushanbe on September 22.
The meeting will be attended by delegations from Tajikistan, Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Uzbekistan, as well as representatives of the CIS Executive Committee and the basic organization of the CIS member states in the field of notarial activities.
The draft agenda includes more than 10 issues. The meeting will focus on the legal regulation of certain areas of activity of the ministries of justice and summarize the results of their joint work.
It is also planned to consider issues of providing free legal assistance to citizens, interaction in the field of notarial activities, provision of government (administrative) services, as well as discuss approaches to optimization (inventory) of regulatory legal acts of the CIS member states.
In addition, the meeting participants will approve the Plan of Main Activities of the Council of Ministers of Justice for 2024, which outlines priority areas for the further development of legal cooperation in the Commonwealth.
