DUSHANBE, 24.11.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – On the sidelines of the Qatar Travel Market 2023, the First Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Tourism Development met with th representatives of the Qatar Hospitality company and the Qasswa company of Saudi Arabia.

The parties discussed strengthening bilateral and multilateral cooperation in developing tourism, attracting tourists from Qatar and Saudi Arabia to Tajikistan and exchanging experience.

It was noted that Tajikistan has ample opportunities in terms of mountaineering and ecological tourism.

Representatives of the Qatar Hospitality company and the Qasswa company of Saudi Arabia expressed their readiness to develop cooperation in various processes for the development of tourism and common interests.

Along with this, a presentation of the country’s tourism opportunities took place as part of the Qatar Travel Market 2023.

During the presentation, it was provided detailed information on the opportunities, situation, development and regulatory framework of the tourism sector in Tajikistan.

The participants exchanged views on the content of the presentation and the tourism sector in Tajikistan.
