Tajikistan and Germany Will Develop Cooperation in the field of Disaster Risk Reduction

DUSHANBE, 01.03.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – Issues of cooperation in the field of disaster risk reduction, training and retraining of specialists were discussed on February 27 by the Chairman of the Committee for Emergency Situations and Civil Defense Rustam Nazarzoda and the Ambassador of Germany to Tajikistan Yorck Schuegraf.
The meeting also focused on the possibility of starting joint projects.
Schuegraf stated that during his diplomatic activities in Tajikistan he would make efforts to further develop relations between government structures of Germany and the Committee.
The parties expressed hope for further development of cooperation between Tajikistan and Germany in the field of disaster risk reduction.
