DUSHANBE, 07.05.2024 (NIAT Khovar) — On May 7, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. local time, a 34-year old Tajik citizen Olimjon Abdulloev, Uzbek by nationality, history teacher of secondary school No. 4 of Jabbor Rasulov district of the Sughd region, in order to clarify the fate of his minor son, a student of the said secondary school Ramzan Abdulloev, detained at the state border line, intended to address the Kyrgyz military personnel stationed in the village of Sulukta, reports the Press Center of the Border Troops of the State Committee for National Security of Tajikistan.
No actions or actions that contradict the principles of good neighborliness due to one’s social status (history teacher), Olimjon Abdulloev did not show.
However, a firearm was used against him, as a result of which he was injured.
Currently, Olimjon Abdulloev hospitalized and is in the district hospital.
The relevant authorities of the two countries are investigating this incident.
The situation at the border is under control.
