Tajik Delegation Attends the SCO Prosecutors General Meeting

DUSHANBE, 26.07.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – The delegation of Tajikistan, headed by Prosecutor General Yusuf Rahmon, took part in the 22nd meeting of the prosecutors general of the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization on July 25 in Bishkek.
Initially, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov welcomed the meeting participants.
The heads of delegations exchanged views and experiences regarding the functions and role of the prosecutor’s office with a special emphasis on the introduction and use of modern technologies in prosecutorial activities.
Yusuf Rahmon spoke on the topic “The role of the prosecutor’s office in the modern world and the era of digitalization: the experience of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Tajikistan in the fight against new threats and ensuring human rights,” and noted the advanced experience of state law enforcement agencies in the fight against terrorism and cybercrimes.
