Over 580,000 Tourists Visit Tajikistan in 2024

DUSHANBE, 06.08.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – In the first 6 months of 2024, 748,300 foreigners visited Tajikistan, of which 580,500 were tourists. It was announced at a press conference by the Chairman of the Committee for Tourism Development Kamoliddin Muminzod.
According to him, the statistics exceed last year’s figures by 19.1%.
Of the total number of visitors, 687,800 people, or 91.9%, are residents of the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and 60,500 people, or 8.1%, are residents of non-CIS countries.
