Tajik-Iranian Tourism Forum Held on Kish Island

DUSHANBE, 02.12.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – The Tajik-Iranian tourism forum was held on November 28 on Kish Island, reports the Embassy of Tajikistan in Iran.
The forum was attended by the Ambassador of Tajikistan to Iran Nizomiddin Zohidi, the head of the Kish free zone Muhammadjafar Kabiri, the head of the representative office of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, representatives of Iranian government agencies, as well as a delegation of the private sector of the tourism industry of Tajikistan headed by the director of the travel agency “Somon Travel” and top managers of Iranian travel companies.
Zohidi provided detailed information on the initiatives of the Government of Tajikistan to develop the tourism industry, as well as the prospects and opportunities for tourism in the republic.
Representatives of Tajik travel agencies reached an agreement with leading Iranian tourism companies on launching new tourist routes and exchanging experience in providing a range of services to guests and tourists.
Following the event, a document on cooperation between tourism companies of Tajikistan and Iran was signed.
