A trilateral meeting of the Prime Ministers of Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan took place

DUSHANBE, 08.01.2025 /NIAT “Khovar”/. Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Kohir Rasulzoda, Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov and Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic — Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic Adylbek Kasymaliev met in the interstate border zone.
The meeting was held within the framework of previously reached agreements on state border issues between President of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Emomali Rahmon, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Mr. Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of the Kyrgyz Republic Mr. Sadyr Zhaparov.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that the three states have great potential for strengthening cooperation in key sectors such as trade, logistics, water-energy and cultural-humanitarian ties, and development of transboundary and interregional cooperation is its important component.
At the end of the meeting, the heads of delegations expressed confidence that today’s meeting will play an important role in regional integration, contribute to the development and strengthening of state cooperation, friendship and brotherhood of peoples.
The meeting was held at the junction point of the state borders of three countries — in Sughd province of Tajikistan, Batken province of the Kyrgyz Republic and Fergana province of Uzbekistan.
