DUSHANBE, 21.01.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On January 21, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, made personnel changes in the leadership of the Supreme Court, the Supreme Economic Court, the Ministry of Labor, Migration and Employment of the Population, the Committee on Television and Radio, and a number of institutions subordinate to the Committee on Television and Radio, agencies for civil service, social insurance and pensions, Execution Service, the State Medical University, the Institute of Physical Education, and the State Institute of Fine Arts and Design.

In accordance with Clause 8 of Article 69 of the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan, proposals were submitted by the President of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Majlisi milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan on the dismissal of Shermuhammad Shohiyon from the post of Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Tajikistan, on the dismissal of Mirzozoda Rustam Pirahmad from the post of Chairman of the Supreme Economic Court of the Republic of Tajikistan, on the dismissal of Khairiddinzoda Azizbek from the post of Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Economic Court of the Republic of Tajikistan due to his transfer to another job, on the dismissal of Ishoqi Amirkhon Nusratullo from the post of Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Tajikistan, and on the dismissal of Azizzoda Shodmoni Shams from the post of judge of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Tajikistan due to reaching the maximum age for holding the post of judge, and on the nomination of Mirzozoda Rustam Pirahmad as Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The heads of several ministries and committees under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan were dismissed from their posts due to reaching retirement age, and young, experienced specialists with knowledge of foreign languages were appointed to responsible and managerial positions.

During the conversation, the Leader of the Nation comprehensively analyzed and discussed the current situation and prospects of the aforementioned sectors, and gave specific instructions and guidance to the personnel who took up leadership positions in ministries and state agencies on their loyal and honest service for the benefit of the Motherland and the people of Tajikistan.

It was emphasized that in leadership activities, serious attention should be paid to ensuring judicial justice and the rule of law in society, promoting and encouraging high national culture through television and other mass media, training young and talented professional cadres with command of foreign languages, including in the field of culture and journalism, training world-class athletes in national and Olympic sports, as well as to the effective and targeted use of budget funds.
