DUSHANBE, 02.03.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – As of 12:00 p.m., voter turnout in Tajikistan was 59%, reports the Central Commission for Elections and Referendums of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Thus, in Tajikistan, the elections of deputies of the Assembly or Representatives are considered valid. The elections are considered valid if more than 50 percent of voters showed up at the polling stations.
According to the Central Commission for Elections and Referendums of the Republic of Tajikistan, 41 single-mandate constituencies and 3,513 polling stations have been created to organize and conduct parliamentary elections.
More than 229 international observers from various international organizations are monitoring the elections. In addition, more than 203 representatives of local and foreign media are covering the elections.
Polling stations located in Tajikistan will be closed on March 2 at 20:00 local time.
Preliminary results will be announced within 24 hours after the end of voting, and the final results — no later than two weeks after the end of the elections.
