Tajikistan and Iran Hold Joint Working Group Meeting on Law Enforcement and Security

DUSHANBE, 23.05.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – The latest meeting of the Joint Working Group on Law Enforcement and Security between Tajikistan and Iran was held on May 20 in Dushanbe.
The session was co-chaired by Abdurahmon Alamshozoda, First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan, and Aliakbar Pourjamshidian, Deputy Minister of Interior of Iran for Security and Police Affairs.
The meeting was seen as a continuation of the high-level political dialogue between the Presidents of Tajikistan and Iran.
Discussions focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation in combating transnational organized crime, enhancing security, and facilitating information exchange.
