Tajik Interior Minister, Indian Ambassador discussed the issues of combating terrorism and extremism
Dushanbe, 19.01.2016. (NIAT “Khovar”). — The Minister of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan Rahimzoda Ramazon Hamro has met with the Ambassador of India in Tajikistan Biraja Prasad.
According to Tajik MIA, during the meeting the parties have discussed the issues of combating terrorism, extremism, illegal drugs and weapons trafficking, and other important aspects.
Minister Rahimzoda noted that Tajikistan and India have an ancient culture and between the countries established friendly relations and bilateral cooperation at the appropriate level.
In turn, Ambassador Biraja Prasad noted that India is interested in expanding cooperation between the two countries, and is ready to strengthen its efforts in this direction.
