On December 25, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, commissioned the additional educational building of the Innovative Medical College in Bokhtar city.

The new educational facility was built by the patriotic entrepreneur Qurbonali Kahhorov in order to improve the level of training of healthcare professionals and create modern conditions for education.

While getting acquainted with the educational conditions and opportunities, the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, expressed gratitude to the domestic entrepreneur for his contribution to the development of the healthcare sector and the construction of such a modern facility.

The institution has 53 classrooms, including 16 lecture classrooms and 4 classrooms for practical skills training. Training is provided in 7 areas and 9 specialties, including midwifery, nursing, pharmacy, dentistry, dental treatment, and medical diagnostics.

It was reported that students will be admitted after completing grades 9 and 11 through the National Testing Center.

The facility has a dormitory for 120 people, canteen with 250 seats, electronic library with more than 15 thousand educational materials, and general library with 12 thousand books.

215 people have been employed at the institution, including 48 medical specialists, 35 technical staff, and 132 experienced teachers.

Currently, 3,500 students are studying at the Innovative Medical College, of which 2,410 are girls.

We remind that a number of other improvement and construction works have been carried out in the city of Bokhtar on the initiative of domestic entrepreneur Qurbonali Kahhorov. In particular, he took an active part in the lighting of 5 central streets and avenues of Bokhtar for a distance of more than 15 kilometers and the beautiful painting of its buildings.

The Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, was informed that this entrepreneur built and put into operation 8 children’s playgrounds and 2 sports grounds in the city of Bokhtar in order to create favorable conditions for recreation and physical development of children and adolescents. These measures contribute to improving the city’s infrastructure, ensuring decent living conditions for residents, and making the city of Bokhtar even more beautiful.

After putting into operation the additional educational building of the Innovative Medical College, the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, remotely put into operation the additional educational building and dormitory of the Davo Private Medical College.

This facility has the necessary educational conditions and opportunities, and is equipped with educational equipment and visual aids.

Construction work on the facility began in 2021 and was built by «Rushdi Khatlon» Limited Liability Company.

The total number of employees of the Medical College is 166 people, of whom 138 are teachers and 28 are technical personnel.

The institution’s dormitory has 160 beds.

2,500 students study in this institution in two shifts, of which 1,500 are girls.

The establishment of two modern medical educational institutions in the city of Bokhtar will create a favorable environment for attracting more girls from remote cities and districts of the country to study.

The Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, emphasized that the healthcare sector is one of the most delicate and responsible sectors. Therefore, teachers were instructed to exhort students in studying modern knowledge and guide them on the path of honest service to the Motherland, so that in the future they can faithfully serve independent Tajikistan as highly qualified specialists.
