Austrian Company Andritz Hydro Seeks to Expand Cooperation with Tajikistan

DUSHANBE, 13.02.2026 (NIAT Khovar) – Austrian company Andritz Hydro GmbH has expressed readiness to expand cooperation with Tajikistan, the Tajik Embassy in Austria reported.
On Feb. 12, a meeting was held in Vienna between Tajikistan’s Ambassador to Austria, Manuchehr Jabir, and Andritz Hydro executives, including Senior Vice President Alexander Schwab and Vice President for Eastern Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia, Norbert Schwartz.
According to the embassy, the parties discussed the current state and future prospects of cooperation between Tajikistan’s relevant agencies and Andritz Hydro.
Andritz Hydro, a major Austrian company in the hydropower sector, specializes in the design, production, and supply of equipment for hydroelectric power plants.
