Asian Development Bank President Masato Kanda to Visit Tajikistan in March

Masato Kanda, president of the Asian Development Bank, will visit Tajikistan from March 3 to 5, Khovar reports, citing the State Committee for Investments and State Property Management.
During his working visit, Kanda is expected to discuss ways to strengthen cooperation between the bank and Tajikistan across multiple sectors. He will also visit the Vocational Skills Development Center in Dushanbe.
Tajikistan has partnered with the Asian Development Bank since 1998. Over nearly three decades, the bank has financed more than 200 projects worth over $2.7 billion, supporting key sectors such as energy, transport infrastructure, healthcare, education, and food security.
The bank is currently involved in projects promoting a green economy, digitalization, and private sector development in Tajikistan.
