On March 28, a meeting of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan was held under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Head of the Government of the country, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon.

The meeting first heard a report by the Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Abdurahmon Abdurahmonzoda, on the timely preparation of the economic and social sectors of the republic for regular and effective activity in the autumn-winter period of 2026-2027.

It was emphasized that the purpose of developing a draft decree of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan is to determine tasks and measures related to resolving issues of preparing the economic and social sectors of the republic for the autumn-winter period of 2026-2027.

The Head of State, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, instructed to approve a plan of measures for the timely preparation of the economic and social sectors of the republic and to establish a republican headquarters.

It was also instructed that the executive bodies of state power of regions, cities and districts, and relevant ministries and departments submit summary information to the Republican Headquarters by the 20th of each month.

The Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population Jamoliddin Abdullozoda reported on the Program for the Protection of the Population from Tuberculosis in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2026-2030 and the Program for the Development of Donorship and Ensuring the Safety of Donor Blood in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2026-2030.

Then, the meeting considered the Action Plan of the State Program for Coastal Strengthening in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2023-2027 in 2026-2027 and the Action Plan of the Program for the Development of the Agro-Food System and Sustainable Agriculture for the period until 2030 in 2026-2030, and adopted relevant decisions.

At the end of the meeting of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the President of the country, Emomali Rahmon, gave specific instructions to local government bodies, ministries, departments and institutions on the implementation of the previous instructions of the Head of State and the decisions of today’s meeting.

Instructions were also given on the expansion of spring planting and work, the effective use of arable land, environmental protection, the prevention of natural disasters, especially floods in the spring, and the expansion of construction work in order to adequately welcome the national holiday — 35th anniversary of state independence.
