Chairman of the Tajikistan’s State National Security Committee Yatimov meets Chinese Minister of Public Security Guo Shengkun
Dushanbe, 26.01.2016 (NIAT «Khovar») .- Chairman of the State Committee for National Security of Tajikistan Saymumin Yatimov met with Chinese Minister of Public Security Guo Shengkun in Beijing on Monday, Xinhua reported.
At the beginning of the talks, Guo Shengkun expressed that pragmatic cooperation in such areas as fighting the «Three Evil Forces» of terrorism, separatism, and extremism, as well as border control and law enforcement training could be improved.
«This would help tackle various risks and challenges while safeguarding peace and stability of the two countries as well as the region,» Guo said.
Yatimov in their turn expressed willingness to develop security and law enforcement cooperation with China. He also extended thanks to China for its selfless assistance over the years.
