On April 24, in the city of Nurek, Khatlon Province, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, commissioned the “Global Invest” drinking water production factory.

The industrial enterprise for the production of domestic products was established by the patriotic entrepreneur Khujamurod Azimi as part of the worthy celebration of the great national holiday of the 35th anniversary of state independence.

The newly built facility is located in the industrial zone of the city of Nurek, and various types of drinking water are produced there. The Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, was informed that 30 local residents have been provided with permanent jobs and good salaries at the enterprise.

As noted, the production capacity of this enterprise is 15 thousand capsules and 5 thousand bottles of drinking water per day.

According to officials, in the city of Nurek, as part of the implementation of the country’s rapid industrialization strategy, the number of industrial enterprises has increased to 31, and the total output of the sector in the past five years has exceeded 2 billion 427 million somoni.

46 import-substituting products are produced at the city’s industrial enterprises.

After the opening of the «Global Invest» enterprise, the President of the country, Emomali Rahmon, visited an exhibition of industrial enterprises’ products here.

The exhibition featured 7 domestic products, including drinking water, oil, soap, capsules, granules (polyethylene granules), microcement, and armatec, which, in addition to supplying the domestic market, are also aimed at export.

This enterprise has established cooperation between scientists and production. In particular, the production of microcement, which is considered a rare product and has many buyers both at home and abroad, is the result of the enterprise’s cooperation with the Tajik inventor Komron Safarzoda. This type of cement is also widely used in the construction of the Rogun hydroelectric power plant.

In addition to visiting the exhibition of domestic products, the Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, also visited an exhibition dedicated to the international holiday of Navruz, consisting of handicrafts, various Tajik dishes, national musical instruments, etc., which were exhibited in the courtyard of the enterprise.

In addition to being a leading businessman in the country, Khojamurod Azimov is a successful person in raising his children properly, giving them higher education, and making them professionals.
