Tajikistan, Mongolia Seek to Expand Air, Rail and Road Transport Cooperation

Tajikistan and Mongolia are moving to deepen cooperation in air, rail and road transport, following talks between Tajik Deputy Transport Minister Shoista Saidmurodzoda and Mongolian Minister of Roads and Transport Borkhuugiin Delgersaikhan in Ulaanbaatar, Tajikistan’s Transport Ministry said.
The sides discussed preparations for signing a bilateral agreement on international road transport and expressed readiness to strengthen cooperation in the railway sector.
They also exchanged views on advancing collaboration in civil aviation, rail and road transport and explored opportunities to develop new transport routes linking the broader Eurasian region.
The discussions come as Mongolia continues to expand its political and economic ties with Central Asian countries, including cooperation in transport and logistics.
