On October 19, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, visited Rudaki District to familiarise himself with the district’s socioeconomic situation, inaugurate several newly constructed facilities, and meet with residents.

First, the Head of State officially inaugurated the new building of the Rudaki District Department of Education.

The facility was constructed as part of the country’s development and construction initiatives in preparation for the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan. The building comprises 35 offices, a conference hall with 182 seats, a library, a cafeteria, and a guesthouse. Modern facilities and favourable working conditions have been provided to ensure the effective performance of education sector employees, including access to the necessary modern technologies.

The construction and commissioning of such modern facilities contribute to strengthening the material and technical infrastructure of the education sector, improving employees’ working conditions, and enhancing the effectiveness of educational administration. At the same time, the facility reflects the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan’s continued attention to the development of education, the improvement of educational infrastructure, and the provision of favourable working conditions for teachers and other education sector personnel.

During his inspection of the facilities, the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, emphasised the importance of constructing and renovating administrative buildings for the education sector, kindergartens, and general secondary education institutions in creating favourable conditions for the education and upbringing of the younger generation. It was emphasised that the development of educational infrastructure and the provision of adequate facilities for educational institutions are among the key factors in improving the quality of education and nurturing a knowledgeable and well-educated generation.
