Dushanbe, 18.02.2016. (NIAT “Khovar”). — Development of cooperation in the sphere of combating international terrorism, extremism, separatism, illegal narcotic drugs trafficking, increasing the effectiveness of cooperation in the field of information security, the exchange of operational information were discussed by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan Rahimzoda Ramazon Hamro and Director of the Executive Committee of the Regional anti-terrorist structure of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO RATS) Yevgeny Sysoyev.

“The Interior Ministry is ready to cooperate with interested parties in combating terrorism and extremism, as well as in the fight against growing challenges and threats in the region. In order to ensure security, between the Interior Ministries of Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, China and other SCO Member States have been signed a number of agreements”, — noted Tajik Interior Minister.

At the end of the meeting, Yevgeniy Sysoyev has expressed confidence that cooperation between SCO Member States will develop further in a necessary vein.
